What you should look out for when choosing furniture castors:

 Firstly, think about the flooring for which the castors will be used. On hard floors such as parquet or tiles, soft rubber or plastic castors are recommended to avoid scratches and ensure quiet running. Hard wheels, on the other hand, are suitable for carpeted floors as they roll more easily.
