Make your furniture mobile:
With our furniture castors, you can transform heavy cabinets, tables or shelves into flexible pieces of furniture that are easy to move.
Kirchner Designbeschläge offers designer furniture castors that combine function and aesthetics. Choose exactly the combination you need from swivel castors (360° swivelling for maximum manoeuvrability) and fixed castors (rigid, for stable straight-line design).
Both types of castors are often used together - two swivel castors with brakes and two fixed castors - so that furniture can be easily manoeuvred on the one hand and securely locked on the other.
Our castors are characterised by high-quality materials: Housing made of robust metal (galvanised steel or aluminium) and hard-wearing wheels made of plastic or rubber, which are also gentle on sensitive floors.
Furniture castors are available in various sizes (from compact 40 mm castors to large 100 mm diameters) and load capacities, so that everything from light side tables to heavy cabinets can be moved.
Thanks to their elegant surfaces and sophisticated design, the castors blend harmoniously into modern living concepts - practical without being visually disruptive.

What you should look out for when choosing furniture castors:
Firstly, think about the flooring for which the castors will be used. On hard floors such as parquet or tiles, soft rubber or plastic castors are recommended to avoid scratches and ensure quiet running. Hard wheels, on the other hand, are suitable for carpeted floors as they roll more easily.
Also note the load capacity: Each model has a maximum load capacity per castor - to be on the safe side, calculate generously, especially if you are only using three castors (for round bases) or have an uneven weight.
Decide whether you need brakes: Lockable swivel castors with integrated brakes are useful if the piece of furniture is to be fixed occasionally (such as a serving trolley that must not roll away).
Finally, pay attention to the type of mounting: Many furniture castors are attached to the furniture from below with a screw plate, others have a pin for corresponding mounting sockets. Measure the space available on the furniture in advance (height of the castor, size of the mounting plate) to ensure that everything fits.

Our selection of design furniture castors made of aluminum, wood, stainless steel or plastic.
Swivel castors have a swivel housing.
Fixed castors, on the other hand, are non-swivel furniture castors. They are often combined with swivel castors to ensure good maneuverability.
Our design furniture castors can be fitted with or without brakes.
