Tips on installing and selecting cable grommets: Before installing a cable entry, measure exactly what diameter the hole in the table should have. Common table cable apertures require a 60 mm or 80 mm hole saw, for example. Mark the point on the table top where the cables are to be routed downwards - ideally as close as possible to the rear edge or directly where devices are located to keep cable runs short. Drill out the hole cleanly and insert the cable aperture. Our models usually have a removable cover or a brush seal through which cables can be fed without being able to see inside the table. Pay attention to how many cables you want to fit through: A small aperture is sufficient for a single laptop, but if you have many cables (monitor, PC, telephone, lamps, etc.), a larger diameter or several apertures are useful. Also consider the choice of material: Metal cable grommets are very durable and have a high-quality appearance, whereas plastic versions disappear discreetly in a matching color.
